News about sunflower holiday lights (important information for our designer)

One kind of sunflower holiday lights got consumer warning. It was issued by rapid alert system for Non-Food products of  the  European union committee. The brand of sunflower lights is "Fairy lights"

The picture is as following.

The reason was the cross section of conductors  less than 0.5  mm²,  and another reason was the length between plug  and the first light socket is only 0.85m, but in EU , requirement the length more than 1.5meter.

These two reasons rise the risk of electric shock by this model of  holiday lights.

The brand of the sunflower holiday lights is "fairy lights", the distributor voluntary withdrawed this goods from EU market .

It happend in December , 2007.

The manufacturer and distributor got loss and a big lesson. We ,as a news reader , also should get a very important useful lesson.

Disigner of holiday lights should to open his eyes to avoid this kind problem happen.  They need to read and know well the related rules of holiday lights or home using electrical products in importing area.  As they design new models, new designs, they need to think more , Basicly, they must to think about the safety of the design.  It is the most important rule .

Though it is not the same holiday lights, we also need to serious check all of our design again. it is not just the same rule , also we need to check outdoor using rules, For consumer, for our distributor, for our seller, our company and for ourself. Please every one give your big attention to it.

Our sunflower lights is one kind of artificial sunflower lights , it can be use as street decoration lights, plaza decoration lights and entertainment park decoration.
